APC Launches Campaign Council for Osun Governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated its National Campaign Council for the Osun State governorship election scheduled for November 27, 2026. The event took place in Abuja, where APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, described the election as a critical test of the party's strength before the 2027 general elections.

The campaign council includes governors, National Assembly members, ministers, deputy governors, and other stakeholders tasked with mobilizing resources to reclaim Osun State. Yilwatda asserted that the APC is Nigeria's most formidable political party, citing its experienced politicians.

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, representing the council, pledged to work collectively for the APC's success and emphasized the importance of unity within the party. The campaign will focus on engaging with the people of Osun State, promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu's administration, and conducting a peaceful campaign.

APC governorship candidate Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji expressed gratitude for the support received and noted the party's outreach efforts across Osun.
