Oyebamiji Congratulates Adeleke, Condemns Election Violence

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the August 15, 2026 Osun State governorship election, congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his electoral victory during a speech in Osogbo. He addressed APC leaders and supporters, emphasizing the need for Governor Adeleke, as Chief Security Officer of the state, to take decisive action against the killings, harassment, and intimidation of APC members.

Oyebamiji expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support and acknowledged former Governor Bisi Akande and Minister Adegboyega Oyetola for their contributions to the party's efforts. He recounted the violence surrounding the election, including the killings of several APC members, and called for a thorough investigation by the Nigeria Police Force.
