Oyebamiji Congratulates Adeleke, Urges APC Unity for 2027

Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the August 15, 2026 Osun State governorship election, congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his electoral victory as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Speaking in Osogbo, Oyebamiji stated that the election outcome was not the end for the APC and urged party members to begin mobilization for the 2027 general elections.

He called for unity within the party, emphasizing the importance of strengthening its structures and grassroots presence. Oyebamiji acknowledged the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Governor Bisi Akande, while also expressing concern over reported violence during the election, urging security agencies to investigate these incidents.

He highlighted the resilience and loyalty of APC members throughout the election period and called for continued commitment to democratic principles despite the election results.
