Osun Hunters Support Tinubu's Reelection, Urge NFSS Bill

The local hunters in Osun State, represented by their chairman Nureni Ahm, have publicly declared their support for Bola Tinubu's reelection bid as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). During a meeting in Osogbo, the hunters urged President Bola Tinubu to sign the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) bill, which aims to regulate the operations of forest security services and enhance security measures in the state.

The group, led by Remi Omowaiy, highlighted the necessity of collaboration to tackle insecurity in Osun and pledged to mobilize 8,000 forest guards to support Tinubu's reelection efforts. They expressed confidence in the APC's commitment to improving security in the state.

Additionally, the hunters are actively engaging in voter mobilization ahead of the governorship elections scheduled for August 15. They also noted the political landscape is shifting, with various groups expressing support for different candidates, including the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) Ademola Adeleke.
