NGF Congratulates Adeleke on Osun Re-election Victory

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) congratulated Ademola Adeleke on his re-election as the Governor of Osun State, stating that the election outcome reflected the strides made by Adeleke and the confidence of the electorate. The NGF, in a statement signed by its Chairman, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, commended the people of Osun State for their turnout and all candidates involved in the election.

The election, held on August 15, was closely contested, with Adeleke representing the Accord Party and defeating Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress. The NGF described the election as a demonstration of Nigeria's democratic resilience and acknowledged the role of opposition parties in strengthening democracy.

They praised security agencies for maintaining order during the election and recognized President Bola Tinubu for his balanced leadership role. The NGF expressed confidence that Adeleke would build on his first-term achievements during his second tenure.
