IPAC Urges Voters to Participate Fearlessly in Osun Election

Less than a day before the Osun State governorship election, the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) called on voters to participate actively and without fear. Dr Tosin Odeyemi, the IPAC Chairman in Osun State and the governorship candidate of the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA), issued a statement in Osogbo urging voters to exercise their franchise without intimidation or inducement.

He emphasized that the election is a critical opportunity for the electorate to determine governance direction and cautioned against vote buying and electoral manipulation. Odeyemi urged security agencies to maintain neutrality and professionalism while protecting voters and election materials.

He also appealed to parents to discourage their children from engaging in political violence. The IPAC chairman stated that the election outcome should reflect the people's wishes and not be influenced by intimidation or financial inducement.

He reiterated IPAC's commitment to a peaceful and credible electoral process in Osun.
