Abia APC Chairman Critiques Otti's Commissioners' Knowledge

Chijiok Chukwu, the Abia APC Chairman, accused the commissioners appointed by Governor Alex Otti of being unaware of their polling units. Speaking in Ikwuano LGA on Friday, Chukwu stated that the commissioners' inability to identify polling units reflects their disconnect from the local populace.

He attributed this issue to Otti's administration, which he claimed has prioritized Lagos City over Abia State, causing the commissioners to lose track of their hometown responsibilities. Chukwu further alleged that despite the efforts made during the 2023 elections, the people have not been compensated for their support.

In response, Dodoh Okafor, a senior special assistant to Governor Otti, dismissed Chukwu's claims as deceitful and asserted that Chukwu is not politically conscious. Additionally, former House of Representatives member Sam Onuigbo announced his intention to represent the Abia Central senatorial district.
