Otuaro Urges Niger Delta to Support Tinubu in 2027

Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), called on the people of the Niger Delta to vote massively for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections as a way to reciprocate his developmental efforts. Otuaro made this statement during a pre-departure orientation for 150 new post-graduate scholarship beneficiaries being sent to various universities in the United Kingdom.

This new batch brings the total number of offshore deployments by the PAP to 243 for the year, following 93 beneficiaries sent in January and May. Otuaro emphasized that these scholarships are an investment in the future of the Niger Delta and aim to close the region's human capital development gap.

He noted that under Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, the PAP has made significant strides in education, with 8700 beneficiaries currently in-country and 270 deployed to offshore universities. Otuaro stated that the large-scale sponsorships are crucial for sustaining peace and stability in the region.
