ADC Sets Conditions Amid Governor Makinde Defection Rumors

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State has set conditions for Governor Seyi Makinde should he decide to join the party amidst growing defection rumors. The State Chairman of ADC, Yinka Olona, revealed the conditions during a press conference, emphasizing that while Makinde is free to join, no individual should undermine the party's structure.

Olona dismissed reports of formal engagement with the Governor and described ADC as a coalition platform driven by dissatisfaction with the current political order. Niyi Aborishade, an ADC governorship aspirant, highlighted the party's commitment to providing equal opportunities for all aspirants, dispelling rumors of Makinde's interest in the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
