Ogorugba Marks Two Years of Development in Isoko North

Prince Godwin Ogorugba, the chairman of Isoko North Local Government, presented the achievements of his administration as part of the "Godwin Agenda," marking two years in office since assuming the role on July 15, 2024. His agenda aims to complement Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's policies, focusing on people-oriented governance and accelerated development in Isoko North.

Key initiatives include enhancing security to attract investments, such as upgrading Delta State University of Science and Technology in Ozoro and establishing a college of health technology in Ovrod. Ogorugba reported on various infrastructural projects, including the construction of a new administrative complex, rehabilitation of internal roads, and the establishment of a staff clinic.

He emphasized worker welfare through prompt salary payments and the introduction of educational support for pupils in 43 public primary schools. Ogorugba expressed optimism about the foundation laid for future development and reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining progress in the local government area.
