Oyo APC Reports Peaceful and Successful Ward Congress

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced that its ward congress, conducted on Wednesday, was peaceful and free from any schisms or protests. Olawal Sadar, in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, credited the success of the congress to the good spirit and commitment of its members and stakeholders.

The congress was marked by diligent participation, with a committee deployed from the party's national headquarters overseeing the process. The congress committee, led by Hon. Gombi Amo, was praised for its excellent management of the event, which was adjudged to be transparent and credible.

The successful conduct of the ward congress is seen as a positive indicator for the party's future, particularly with local government area congresses scheduled for February 21 and March 3. The Oyo APC emphasized that the exercise set a threshold for smooth conduct in upcoming congresses.
