Over 200 Youths Join 2nd Wamufat Sports Camp in Ogun

The second edition of the Wamufat Sports Camp, organized by the Wamufat Youth Community Development Foundation (WYCDF) in collaboration with the Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF), Run Your City (RYC), and Agroterra Resort, began on August 2 and will conclude on August 8 in Jega Orile, Abeokuta, Ogun State. This camp aims to empower young athletes aged 10 to 16 through sport and values.

Over six days, participants will receive free coaching in multiple sports, including Athletics, Football, Chess, Netball, Golf, Ayo, and Tennis, along with mentorship and character development. The camp emphasizes values such as Gratitude, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork, Resilience, and Integrity.

The week will culminate in a community Race Day on August 8, showcasing the participants' growth. This edition builds on the success of the inaugural camp held in August 2025, which attracted over 450 children at the Agroterra Sports Complex in Joga-Orile, Ogun State.
