Over 200 Youths to Attend 2nd Wamufat Sports Camp

The second edition of the Wamufat Sports Camp, organized by the Wamufat Youth Community Development Foundation (WYCDF) in partnership with the Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF), Run Your City (RYC), and Agroterra Resort, will take place from August 3 to 8, 2026, in Jega Orile, Abeokuta, Ogun State. The camp aims to empower young athletes aged 10 to 16 through sports and values, offering free coaching in various sports, including Athletics, Football, Chess, Netball, Golf, Ayo, and Tennis.

Participants will also receive mentorship and character development training, culminating in a community Race Day on August 8. This initiative is built on the belief that every child deserves access to the transformative power of sport and incorporates a daily curriculum focused on values such as Gratitude, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork, Resilience, and Integrity.

The camp follows the success of the inaugural event in August 2025, which attracted over 450 children at the Agroterra Sports Complex in Joga-Orile, Ogun State.
