Over 500 Attend CUALA Career Fair 2026 in Lagos

The 2026 Career Fair, organized by the Covenant University Alumni Association (CUALA), took place in Lagos, attracting over 500 alumni, professionals, and representatives from leading organizations. Themed ‘Shaping the Future of Work’, the fair focused on career opportunities, recruitment, and the influence of technology and artificial intelligence on the workplace.

Keynote speaker Bode Roberts, CEO of Dataleum, urged participants to adopt a proactive approach to career development and introduced his B.U.I.L.D. framework for navigating career growth. The event featured panel discussions with industry leaders, including Olajumoke Akindolire and Joshua Adenuga, addressing the skills needed to remain competitive in a technology-driven economy.

CUALA Vice President, Careers, Sophia Ukoni, emphasized the fair's goal of creating meaningful connections between professionals and opportunities. Participants expressed the value of direct engagement with employers, gaining insights into recruitment expectations.

Organizations such as Digivant Pay and Nigerian Exchange Group provided live interviews and opportunities for interaction.
