ADC Names Aborisade as Deputy Governorship Candidate

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially presented Aborisade as its deputy governorship candidate for the upcoming election in Oyo State. The unveiling took place at an event in Bodija, Ibadan, where Alagbe, the party leader, declared the ADC's unity and readiness to campaign vigorously.

He expressed confidence in the party's ability to win, urging discontented members and supporters to return and collaborate. Alagbe praised Aborisade as a team player who would enhance the campaign and administration if elected.

Accepting his nomination, Aborisade described the Alagbe-Aborisade ticket as a partnership founded on competence and integrity, aimed at delivering significant change to Oyo State. He emphasized the ticket's focus on improving opportunities for youth, supporting farmers and traders, enhancing education and healthcare, and fostering a conducive business environment.

Aborisade framed the 2027 election as a pivotal choice for Oyo residents between the status quo and a new direction, advocating for leadership that prioritizes the people's needs.
