Adeleke Praises Tinubu, Makinde for Rescue Operation Success

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for the successful rescue of pupils and teachers who were abducted in Oyo State. In a statement, Adeleke described the unconditional release of the victims as a significant achievement and a source of relief for their families.

He praised the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, National Intelligence Agency, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for their professional and coordinated efforts that led to the safe return of the victims. Adeleke particularly acknowledged the professionalism and restraint shown by the security forces during the operation, which was crucial in ensuring the victims' safe release and dismantling the criminal network responsible for the abduction.

He also paid tribute to the security personnel who made sacrifices during the operation and expressed condolences for the lives lost and hopes for the speedy recovery of the injured.
