Education Minister Commends Rescue of Abducted Students

Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, the Federal Minister of Education, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the successful rescue of abducted school children and teachers from Oriir community in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

He commended the Oyo State Government, led by Engr. Seyi Makinde, for its cooperation with relevant security agencies in the rescue efforts.

Alausa expressed profound appreciation for Tinubu's steadfast leadership and commitment to ensuring the safety and security of every Nigerian child. He acknowledged the professionalism and courage of the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, and all security intelligence agencies involved in the operation, which resulted in the safe release of the victims without harm.

Alausa also expressed heartfelt sympathy for the emotional trauma endured by the families of the abducted individuals and reaffirmed the Federal Ministry of Education's commitment to strengthening safety and security in schools across the country.
