Oyo APC Unveils 50 Candidates for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State unveiled 50 candidates for various elective positions in the 2027 elections during a ceremony at the Oyo State APC Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, on Friday. Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli was announced as the governorship candidate and called for unity within the party, particularly among those who contested the governorship ticket with him.

He described them as brothers and critical stakeholders, urging them to work together for the party's success. Alli expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the party's leadership for the governorship ticket and stressed that overcoming internal divisions is essential for electoral victory.

He promised an inclusive administration focused on education, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure. The unveiling also included candidates for the three senatorial districts and 14 candidates for the House of Representatives, indicating the APC's intention to contest all federal constituencies in the state.
