NSCDC Oyo Distributes 15 Motorcycles to Enhance Mobility

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, distributed 15 motorcycles to selected personnel to improve mobility, welfare, and productivity. This initiative was formally presented on Monday at the Command Headquarters in Agodi, Ibadan, as stated by the Public Relations Officer, SC Samuel Opebiyi.

Commandant Augustine Padonu commended the Commandant General of NSCDC, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, and the NSCDC Ibadan Staff Cooperative Society for their support in enhancing personnel welfare. He urged the beneficiaries to maintain the motorcycles properly and use them responsibly, linking improved welfare to greater commitment and effective service delivery.

CSC Victor Adegunlola, Chairman of the cooperative society, noted that the initiative was designed to tackle transportation and mobility challenges faced by personnel and pledged ongoing efforts to promote members’ welfare and economic empowerment. The initiative aims to enhance operational mobility and strengthen personnel capacity to fulfill their statutory responsibilities across Oyo.
