Egor Local Government Enhances Security with Motorcycles

On Friday, Osaro Eribo, the Chairman of Egor Local Government in Edo State, presented 12 motorcycles to personnel of the Nigeria Police Force at the Ugbowo Division and the Edo State Security Corps. This donation aims to strengthen security operations and enhance the fight against kidnapping, banditry, and violent crime within the council area.

During the presentation in Benin City, Eribo emphasized his administration's unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, ensuring that residents of Egor can conduct business in a peaceful and secure environment. The motorcycles are intended to improve the mobility of security operatives, enabling them to respond promptly to distress calls and intensify patrols, especially in areas that are difficult to access with conventional patrol vehicles.

Eribo stated that Egor Local Government will not be a safe haven for kidnappers, bandits, cultists, or other criminal elements, and he is determined to support security agencies with the logistics needed to effectively discharge their constitutional responsibilities.
