Aremu Commends Armed Forces for Oyo State Rescue Operation

Comrade Issa Aremu, the Director General of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), praised the professionalism of Nigeria's armed forces after their successful operation to rescue pupils and staff abducted from a school in Orir Local Government Area, Oyo State. Aremu described the operation as a significant demonstration of the growing capacity and determination of Nigeria's security forces, which renews hope in the agenda to confront criminal elements and restore confidence in the nation's security architecture.

He expressed profound sympathy for the families of victims affected by the brutal murder during the incident and reiterated the importance of eliminating kidnapping, terrorism, banditry, and violent crime across the country. Aremu urged the federal and state governments to ensure that remote areas are not left ungoverned, advocating for economic development in these regions to deter criminal activities.

He reaffirmed MINILS's commitment to promoting labor security and the creation of jobs as essential components of national security.
