The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received approval from the government to participate in the tournament but will not field a team against India on February 15, 2026. The International Cricket Council (ICC) respects the government's decision and hopes that the PCB will consider the long-term implications of their actions on global cricket.

In the absence of a match being played, the result will be a conceded match award. The tournament, which begins on February 7, will see Scotland replacing Bangladesh.

The groups for the tournament include Australia, Namibia, Netherlands, USA, India, and Pakistan.
