PDP Chief Daniel Osi Orbih Passes Away at 2023

Chief Daniel Osi Orbih, a prominent political figure and former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, has passed away. His death was announced on Monday through a statement by Francis Udukhomoi Orbih, Esq., on behalf of the Orbih family.

The family expressed their profound sadness and submission to God's will, noting that Orbih is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Orbih; his children, Ms. Winifred Anwosiobor Orbih and Dr. Mildred Omonemi Orbih; as well as his siblings and extended family members. Orbih held the position of Chairman of the Edo State chapter of the PDP from 2008 until 2019, making him one of Nigeria's longest-serving state party chairmen.

He also served as the PDP National Vice-Chairman for the South-South zone. The family requested prayers from relatives, friends, and well-wishers during their mourning period and indicated that further details regarding his passing would be announced later.

They prayed for the deceased's soul to rest in peace.
