PDP Dissolves Party Structures in Imo, Abia, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Rivers States

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved its party structures in Imo, Abia, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, and Rivers states. This decision came after Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State moved a motion for the dissolution during the PDP's national convention in Ibadan.

The dissolution was based on the need to conduct valid executive elections and ensure compliance with the Electoral Act 2022 and the party's constitution. The convention also saw Daniel Okechukwu seconding the motion for dissolution.
