PDP Threatens Legal Action Against Ex-Deputy Governor Over Job Beneficiaries List

Former Abia State Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu faced backlash for publishing names of beneficiaries of political appointments without party consent. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) threatened legal action against Oko Chukwu for listing individuals who secured permanent pensionable jobs through his influence.

The publication included 350 names of beneficiaries of various empowerment programs in Abia. The PDP accused Oko Chukwu of undermining institutional integrity and due process by claiming personal credit for the appointments.

The party demanded a retraction and apology from the former Deputy Governor to avoid legal repercussions, emphasizing the importance of respecting party procedures and transparency in political appointments.
