PDP's Wabara Affirms Party's Resilience Amid Challenges

Adolphu Wabara, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stated that the party will not die despite current challenges. He made this assertion during the launch of the PDP's online membership registration in Umuahia, where he addressed concerns regarding the party's ongoing struggles, which stem from lingering internal leadership disputes.

Wabara expressed confidence in the PDP's future electoral success and emphasized the importance of addressing internal issues affecting the party. He encouraged members to actively participate in the new membership registration exercise and highlighted the need for stakeholder meetings.

Wabara praised Ikpegbu Emeka Yellow, the Chairman of the Abia PDP Caretaker Committee, for providing effective leadership in a short period. He advised party leaders and members to avoid past mistakes, particularly the practice of godfatherism, and instead create equal opportunities for all members as part of efforts to rebuild and strengthen the party.
