Bwala Accuses Channels TV Host of Bias Against Tinubu

Daniel Bwala, who serves as the Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has publicly accused Seun Akinbaloye, a host at Channels TV, of exhibiting bias in his interviews with politicians. This accusation arose following an interview where Bwala was questioned about previous comments he made against Tinubu prior to joining the administration.

Bwala specifically referenced Akinbaloye's interview with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, where Obi discussed significant national issues, including the policies of the Tinubu-led administration. Bwala criticized Akinbaloye for what he described as "double standards," suggesting that the interviewer lacked the necessary assertiveness and creativity, labeling him as a "massage therapist" in his approach.

Bwala expressed that the interview lacked substance and that media efforts could not effectively promote Obi's candidacy.
