Aisha Yesufu Critiques Peter Obi's Repetitive Interviews

Aisha Yesufu, a rights activist and prominent supporter of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi, expressed her frustration regarding Obi's recent interview on Channels Television. In a video shared on her social media platform, Yesufu stated that she felt "irritated" by the interview, claiming that it presented the same questions and issues that have been discussed repeatedly in previous interviews.

She noted that she expected fresh insights but found none, stating, "I don’t think there was any question Seun asked Peter Obi that has not already been asked." Yesufu criticized the media for placing extensive scrutiny on Obi regarding issues such as insecurity, the economy, and governance, while other political figures, particularly President Bola Tinubu, do not face similar levels of questioning. She emphasized that this pattern of questioning leads to a waste of time and resources, as Obi is pressured to explain his plans on various issues.
