Obi and Kwankwaso Unite to Rescue Nigeria at Meeting

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), hosted Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the Vice Presidential Candidate, at the Obidient Headquarters in Abuja. During the meeting, which took place yesterday, Obi declared their partnership as a definitive alliance aimed at rescuing Nigeria from what he termed calamitous and ineffective leadership.

The discussions centered on strategies to expand the party's influence into rural communities and hinterlands. Obi reaffirmed his commitment to party unity and assured candidates from various states of his support in their respective constituencies.

He described Kwankwaso as his dear elder brother and emphasized their shared vision for national transformation. Obi outlined the NDC’s policy priorities, which include lifting vulnerable Nigerians out of poverty, reducing the number of out-of-school children, and supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

He reiterated the campaign's core message of transitioning Nigeria from a nation of consumption to one of production.
