Obidient Movement Defends Peter Obi Against Mosque Claims

Yunusa Tanko, the national coordinator of the Obidient Movement, dismissed allegations that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), demolished mosques while serving as Governor of Anambra State. Tanko insisted that there is no evidence to support such claims and highlighted Obi's history of supporting Muslims, including the construction of mosques during his governorship.

He stated that the movement would persist in debunking false allegations against Obi, asserting that these claims are based on misinformation. Tanko emphasized the importance of presenting factual information to counter what he described as malicious attempts to tarnish Obi's integrity and reputation.

He reaffirmed the movement's commitment to challenging falsehoods and maintaining the truth about Obi's record and contributions.
