Peter Obi Engages TikTok Audience During Live Session

On 12 October 2026, former presidential candidate Peter Obi made a surprise appearance on a TikTok Live session, which was hosted by Tito Clef. Nigerian content creator Peller was excited to discover Obi on the platform and shared his animated reaction in a video that gained significant attention online.

Peller expressed his admiration for Obi, celebrating the fact that a prominent figure like him chose to engage with the TikTok Live community. He highlighted the remarkable nature of Obi's appearance on a session hosted by Tito Clef, who has a relatively low profile compared to other major names on the platform.

Peller also made a broader prediction about the increasing popularity of TikTok Live as a space where prominent figures would engage with audiences, reflecting a trend of Nigerian politicians and public figures stepping into informal digital spaces to connect with younger audiences.
