PG Records Celebrates Bolé Festival's 10th Anniversary

PG Records backed the 10th anniversary of Bolé Festival, which took place from September 4 to 6 at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt. This year's festival, themed to celebrate the city’s cultural heritage, attracted thousands of attendees, including food vendors, creatives, musicians, and cultural enthusiasts.

Bolé Festival has evolved from a celebration of the local delicacy bolé (roasted plantain with fish and pepper sauce) into a broader cultural platform that highlights Port Harcourt's growing influence in Nigeria's creative economy. PG Records' involvement included performances from its artists, with one being the only female artist on the lineup.

A spokesperson from PG Records stated that the partnership reflects the label's belief in culture's power to create opportunities for emerging talent.
