Amaechi Represents Atiku at NBA Conference in Port Harcourt

Rotimi Amaechi, the former Governor of Rivers State and vice-presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), arrived in Port Harcourt to represent Atiku Abubakar, the ADC presidential candidate, at the 66th Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). The conference, held at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, featured a session titled “Politics, People, and Nigeria’s Future: Forget the Slogans.” This event is significant as it gathers lawyers from across Nigeria to discuss critical issues regarding the country's political direction and governance.

Amaechi's attendance follows the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) publication of the personal particulars and nomination documents for Atiku and his running mate in preparation for the 2027 elections. The documents, submitted through the ADC, include personal information, educational qualifications, and work history.

Atiku's nomination papers detail his educational background and career, including his tenure as Vice President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007. Amaechi's documents reflect his educational achievements and political career, including his time as a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly and his governorship from 2007 to 2015.
