APC Chairman Meets Emir Sanusi in Kano for Discussion

On Saturday, the national Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) visited Emir Sanusi in Kano for a closed-door meeting. A member of the Kano Emirate media team confirmed the meeting but did not disclose the content of their discussions.

Emir Sanusi, a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has previously advocated for certain economic policies implemented by the Tinubu-led APC administration, such as the removal of fuel subsidies. However, he has also criticized some of the administration's policies, stating they are ineffective.

Sanusi is known for his outspoken views on governance and economic reform, making his interactions with political leaders significant. Kano is recognized as one of Nigeria's most politically strategic states, often sought after by parties aiming for electoral dominance.
