Police Arrest 13 Suspects in Nationwide Crime Raids

The Nigeria Police Force arrested at least 13 suspects linked to various offenses such as homicide, gun violence, child defilement, and indecent assault during operations conducted across several states. CSP Ani Iniedu, the Force Public Relations Officer, announced these arrests on Tuesday, detailing operational successes from August 30 to 31.

In Zamfara State, police rescued all passengers abducted by bandits who had intercepted a truck, engaging in a gun duel that forced the assailants to flee. In Katsina State, police thwarted a cattle-rustling attempt, resulting in no casualties.

In Plateau State, Buba Abdulkarim was arrested with an AK-47 rifle during a sting operation. In Abia State, Chikwado Precious and another suspect were apprehended with a locally made pistol.

In Bayelsa State, police recovered a revolver after responding to a distress call. In Oyo State, three suspects were arrested following a youth clash that resulted in one death, and Yusuff Muhammed was arrested for the alleged murder of Suleiman Haruna during a naming ceremony.
