'Obi of Lagos' Arrested Over Controversial Flyer Circulation

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the 'Obi of Lagos', Engr Chibuike Azubike, and three others following the circulation of a controversial flyer announcing an unlawful installation ceremony. Azubike, aged 65, was apprehended along with his accomplices, Chief Chibuzor Ani, Chief Martins Nwaodika, and Ikechukwu Franklin Nnadi.

The police foiled their attempt to mislead the public with the planned event. Azubike, an indigene of Obodoukwu Ancient kingdom in Ideato North LGA, was charged with terrorism, reminiscent of a previous case involving an Igbo leader in Lagos.

The arrests highlight the authorities' vigilance against illegal activities and the maintenance of law and order in the state.
