Enugu Police Arrest Armed Robber in NYSC Uniform with Stolen Items

The Enugu State Police Command, during a highway patrol, captured an armed robber dressed in a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) uniform. The suspect, identified as Chinecherem Ugwuagu, aged 25, was arrested along the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.

He was found with a gun hidden in a lotion container, stolen items, and a stolen motorcycle. Ugwuagu had allegedly used the gun to rob a victim in the 9th Mile Udi local government area.

The police commended the swift action that led to the arrest and recovery of exhibits, reaffirming their commitment to combating crime.
