Police Raid in Lagos and Ogun: 4 Kidnappers Killed, 88 Arrested

The Nigeria Police Force conducted a significant operation named "Oper Ko Si Ay" in Lagos and Ogun states, targeting kidnappers and armed robbers in forested areas. The operation, led by Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu, resulted in the neutralization of four kidnappers and the arrest of 88 suspects.

During a press conference, Ogun State Commissioner of Police Tijani Fatai and Lagos State Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni detailed the operation's success, which included the rescue of five victims kidnapped along the Benin-Shagamu Expressway. The police recovered several weapons, including AK-47 rifles, pump-action guns, and other firearms, as well as mobile phones believed to be linked to criminal activities.

The operation aimed to dispel fears of banditry in the region and maintain security. Fatai urged local communities to remain vigilant and assist security agencies with intelligence on criminal activities.
