Prince Andrew Released as Police Investigate Misconduct

Thames Valley Police have resumed their search of the Royal Lodge in Berkshire as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged misconduct involving Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, and his connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Following his release from custody, Prince Andrew faces no bail conditions, but police retain the power to reinterview or rearrest him as the investigation progresses.

King Charles III has stated that he is fully cooperating with the authorities, although he was not informed of the arrest in advance and does not expect to make further public comments on the matter. The investigation has reportedly garnered support from Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales.

The police have not confirmed whether the case will be referred to the Crown Prosecution Service for charging advice, and the investigation remains active as they continue to assess evidence gathered from the Berkshire property.
