Ogun Police Rescue 18 Corps Members from Kidnap Zone

On June 30, 2023, the Ogun State Police Command successfully rescued 18 National Youth Service Corps members who were stranded overnight after their vehicle broke down in a notorious area known for kidnapping activities. Taiwo Akinsola, the General Manager of Fresh FM Lagos, publicly commended the police for their prompt response to the distress call made by the corps members.

The police, led by Commissioner Bode Ojajuni, acted swiftly to secure the scene and ensure the safe evacuation of the stranded individuals to a hotel in Ijebu Ode. Akinsola expressed deep appreciation for the police's decisive action, which he described as going beyond routine duties, demonstrating their commitment to protecting lives and property even in dangerous situations.
