Lagos Police Shut Down Illegal Alcohol Factory in Badagry

The Lagos State Police Command has sealed a suspected illegal factory in Yafin, Badagry, Lagos State, which was allegedly used to produce adulterated alcoholic drinks. The operation resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old man named Anaebo Hilary.

This action was taken based on information provided by members of the public, leading police operatives to discover the factory. During the operation, the police recovered a range of items, including adulterated alcoholic drinks, empty bottles, various wine labels, and production utensils believed to be used for manufacturing and packaging the illicit drinks.

Following the operation, the factory was sealed, and Hilary was taken into police custody for further investigation. The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, CP Tijani Fatai, praised the operatives for their swift action and encouraged the public to continue reporting suspicious activities to the police.
