Ilebaye Odiniya Rescued from Domestic Violence Incident

On May 9, 2026, the FCT Police Command responded to a distress call regarding an ongoing physical assault involving Ilebaye Odiniya, a 27-year-old Big Brother Naija star, and her father, Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya.

Upon arrival at Royal Anchor Estate in Wuye, Abuja, police discovered that the gate to the residence was locked, and after several attempts to gain access, they found Ilebaye visibly bruised alongside her two younger brothers, Godson Odiniya, 14, and Devin Odiniya, 10. The children were subsequently taken to Yabisam Hospital in Abuja for medical attention.

Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya was also injured during the confrontation and was taken into police custody.

The police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, with the father remaining in custody while the children are under police protection.
