Presidency Commends Imo State's Infrastructure Progress

The Presidency, represented by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Sundai Dare, praised Imo State's infrastructure development during a media tour aimed at showcasing the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Tinubu. The tour highlighted various projects, including the construction of a heart transplant center at the Imo State University Teaching Hospital in Orlu and the establishment of a digital city.

Dare noted the state's efforts to resolve accreditation challenges that hinder medical graduates from obtaining specialist recognition, which he described as a significant boost to healthcare delivery and medical education. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the federal and state governments in driving development, attributing the pace of progress to increased monthly allocations from the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC).

The tour also included inspections of ongoing projects, such as the Infectious Disease Center and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Center.
