Presidency Commends Uzodinma on Orlu-Uga Road Progress

The Presidency commended Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma for his initiatives in repairing the Orlu-Uga federal road and other infrastructure projects. Special Adviser Dare noted that the road, which had been neglected for years, is now 80% complete over a 31-kilometer stretch.

This project is part of the government's Renewed Hope Agenda and is critical for the economic development of the Southeast region. Dare emphasized that the completion of the road would not have been possible without increased allocations from the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) and additional funding from the state government.

He mentioned that previous administrations had failed to address the road's deterioration, but Uzodinma's administration has made significant efforts to reclaim and repair the infrastructure. The partnership between the state and federal governments has positively impacted the people, with a focus on improving infrastructure and economic conditions in Imo State.
