Tinubu's Reforms Propel Development in Imo State

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma praised President Bola Tinubu's economic reforms during a media tour, stating they are driving unprecedented development across Nigeria. Uzodimma highlighted that the removal of fuel subsidies has significantly increased the state's monthly internal revenue from N400 million to N6 billion and reduced its debt profile from N280 billion in 2020 to less than N90 billion.

He emphasized the impact of these reforms on infrastructure projects, including extensive road construction that has drastically reduced travel times. Additionally, he noted improvements in the energy sector, particularly with the Orashi Power Plant, which aims to enhance electricity generation and distribution.

Uzodimma drew comparisons between Tinubu's leadership style and that of Singapore's former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, asserting that Tinubu's reforms are reshaping Nigeria's governance and development path. He also mentioned the importance of media in showcasing government projects and the role of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in increasing membership to 13 million, providing a strong platform for Tinubu's re-election bid.
