Akume Praises Tinubu's Unmatched Achievements in Office

George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, declared that the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration are unmatched in Nigeria's recent history. Speaking on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in Abuja, Akume urged members of the Citi Boi Movement, led by Director General Oluwatosin Shoga, to intensify efforts in communicating the administration's landmark accomplishments.

Despite inheriting significant economic challenges, Tinubu's administration has reportedly recorded unprecedented achievements, including the completion of several road projects, the revival of abandoned projects, and the rebuilding of Nigeria's foreign reserves, which had been nearly depleted. Akume emphasized the importance of grassroots campaigns to ensure citizens understand the impact of Tinubu's "Renew Hope" agenda.
