Presidential Media Team Inspects Projects in Abia State

On Tuesday, the presidential media team, under the leadership of Okei Kanu, arrived in Abia State to inspect various federal and state government projects. This visit was part of the Renew Hope Nation media tour initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The team aimed to evaluate the outcomes of the state executive council meeting held on Monday and to assess projects executed by the Abia State Government, led by Governor Alex Otti. The tour covered six geopolitical zones in the country, with a focus on infrastructure development, including road projects across 17 local government areas.

A significant highlight was the inspection of the ultra-modern bus terminal in Umuahia, which is set to enhance the transport sector. The first phase of operations will involve the Abia Green Shuttle buses, with subsequent phases planned.

The team also discussed the need for compliance and enforcement regarding transport operations, emphasizing the commitment of the state government to improve road networks despite challenges.
