Federal Government Applauds Ebonyi State Development Projects

The Federal Government, represented by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Media Strategy, praised the progress of federal and state projects in Ebonyi State during a media tour. Onanuga noted the impressive scale of development projects, particularly the Trans Sahara Superhighway connecting Cross River, Ebonyi, Benue, Nasarawa, and Abuja.

He commended the collaboration between the federal and state governments, citing federal interventions that complement state-led initiatives. Key projects inspected included a 22-kilometer rural road connecting four communities, the construction of an Ebonyi five-star hotel in Abakaliki, and a housing project for civil servants.

Onanuga emphasized the significant increase in federal allocations under President Bola Tinubu's administration, enabling Ebonyi State to undertake ambitious projects in housing, health, road infrastructure, and education. The media team also visited ongoing works at the Ebonyi State University and inspected various construction projects aimed at improving rural connectivity and access to social services.
