Primero to Convert BRT Buses to CNG in Lagos by Q1 2026

Primero Transport Services Limited, a popular BRT operator in Lagos, Nigeria, announced its intention to switch its buses from diesel to CNG by the first quarter of 2026. The company's Managing Director, Fola Tinubu, highlighted the evolution of the transport sector in Lagos and the need for transformation towards cleaner and more efficient public transport.

The move is part of Primero's decade-long journey of innovation and resilience, with plans to eventually introduce electric buses. The initiative was praised by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for revolutionizing intra-city transport in Lagos.
