New 50-Hectare Amani Estate Launched in Abuja

Real estate stakeholders have commenced a new 50-hectare residential project named Amani Estate in Kansas, Abuja, aimed at addressing Nigeria's housing deficit, which is estimated to exceed 20 million units. This initiative was launched by Kopitar, OMEC Properties, and Gynosure Realty Ltd.

Mr. Anderson Idoko, Chairman of Kopitar, indicated that the project responds to the increasing demand for housing in Abuja, driven by factors such as migration and political cycles. Mr. Michael Ofiwe, Managing Director of OMEC Properties, emphasized that collaboration among developers can expedite project delivery and attract diverse investors.

Amani Abuja will feature various housing options, including 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as 3- and 4-bedroom duplexes. The estate will also include green spaces and community facilities.

Mr. Michael Okuboye, CEO of Gynosure Realty, confirmed that the project has secured its FCDA Certificate of Occupancy and is committed to creating a safe and family-friendly community. The developers aim to combine private-sector funding and expertise to effectively narrow the housing gap.
